Tatlong DOSEna! PIGLAS Mask Pinatatag36th year Anniversary Celebration
PIGLAS Family celebrated the 36th year anniversary last June 26, 2021 via Zoom in three parts. This affair was attended by more than 50 Piglas members from 1985 to 2019 mostly Batch Representatives. The celebration kicked off with a holy mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Dante Manuel Sablan, PIGLAS member 1987. Fr. Dante became member of Piglas while he was on his sabbathical in his seminary and continued his collegiate study in San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Manila.
The holy mass was followed by a business meeting led by the founding chairman, Atty. Mario Maderazo. Initially, the group was broken into smaller groups just like our San Sebastian days when we sat down in a bench right at the back of the SSCR Library or what we called "Piglas ut-utan" then. It was short though. When the group came back to the plenary, Atty. Macki started with some questions via menti.com.
The first question asked was "Why did you join PIGLAS?". Atty. Macki was given various questions, some were funny, some were serious.
There were many other questions asked by the group discussed two important agenda. The first one was whether the group would be forming an alumni association or foundation. Atty. Vivian Macapagal (PIGLAS 1990) being from the SEC explained the attributes of creating a legal entity. The group decided to give this plan a rain check. The next question discussed was about the publication of PIGLAS coffee table book. The group decided to appoint an writer/editor for each batch to write their story via blog/ The group then will create TWG for the synthesis of the stories created by batches to form part in the history of PIGLAS.
After a short break, the BATTLE OF THE BATCHES started. The batches were given designated color and with the assiduousness of Atty. Vivian, the batches had their t-shirts. Thank you LALAMOVE. The first game was Quaransing. Everyone tried their very best to guess the mystery songs. At the end of the game, PINK and PURPLE got 20 and 15 points respectively. Name it to Win it came next with three levels. PINK got 20 points. The third gane, Trip to Ubusan, BLACK and PURPLE got 50 points each. It is in the TIKTOK CHALLENGE where the teams got their lines drawn. Team GRAY got the highest score at 42.73.

TEAM PURPLE emerged as the OVERALL WINNER and the recipient of the POT PRIZE contributed by all the batches.
